This film project represents a tactile, intentional approach to image-making. I taught myself how to use my great aunt’s 40-something year-old film camera, learning to read a light meter and shoot fully manual. From there, I developed each roll by hand—mixing chemicals, processing negatives, and scanning the final images. This process deepened my appreciation for the craft of photography and taught me the value of slowing down, observing light, and creating with care.
